COLLIN J. PITTMANN

DIRECTOR. DREAMER. DOER.
(he/him) is an award-winning theatre director, educator and arts administrator from Spokane, WA. He holds an M.F.A. in Theatre Directing from the U.K.'s #1 Drama School (East15 Acting School/University of Essex) and a B.A. in Theatre & Journalism (Summa Cum Laude) from Texas Christian University. Collin was recognized by Washington State Governor Jay Inslee in 2023 with an Arts & Heritage award for his impact on arts education and culture. In the same year, Collin's alma mater, TCU, named him a 'Emerging Leader.' Currently, Collin works full-time as Spokane Valley Summer Theatre's Artistic Associate/Director of Education & Production Manager. Under his tenure, the company has educated over 1,000 students, developed and programmed seven new theatre camps for children (Grades 2-12), awarded a historic number of need-based tuition scholarships, operated camps and classes at max capacity, and established the annual 'Rising Stars' showcase program for high school and college aged young adults who plan to pursue the arts professionally. In addition to his education work, Collin is a resident director for Spokane Valley Summer Theatre - frequently directing main stage musicals. His most recent production of Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat became the best-selling production in company history. In 2024, Collin worked as Assistant Director for the world premiere, Off-West End production of WILKO - a play about iconic rock star and founding 'Dr. Feelgood' band member Wilko Johnson. The production received a West End transfer in Summer 2025.
